    How is this different from other gut microbiome tests on the market?

    Microbiome Explorer is the only clinical-grade Microbiome test. Whether it’s precise microbiome mapping, comprehensive microbiome insights, modern collaboration and support tools, or advanced clinical workflows - you can expect better in every way.

    What’s included in the test? How do they influence treatment?

    Microbiome Explorer includes up to 7 GI health markers and 14 functional microbiome markers spanning digestion, inflammation, motility, barrier integrity, and microbial diversity. These markers go beyond measuring the abundance of species to help identify root-cause dysfunctions so you can tailor diet, lifestyle, and supplement protocols with greater precision.

    How easy is it to interpret the report, and will I need to change how I work?

    The Microbiome Explorer report is designed to be as easy to interpret as possible and is intended to support clinical decision-making. Insights are prioritised, explained in plain language, and supported with interpretation checklists and videos.     How do I get started?

    To begin using Microbiome Explorer, simply register as a practitioner. There’s no upfront commitment, just access to better tools for better care.

    How is Microba and the Microbiome Explorer testing range related to Invivo, Co-biome and MetaXplore? What’s changed with the brand refresh?

    Co-biome and Invivo have always been sub-brands of Microba.
    To makes things easier, we have recently made the following changes.
    Placed all of our microbiome test offerings directly under the Microba brand.

    MetaXplore is now known as Microba Microbiome Explorer. It will continue to come in the same three variants.
    - Microba Microbiome Explorer – Essentials (Formerly Metaxplore)
    - Microba Microbiome Explorer – Extended (Formerly Metaxplore GI)
    - Microba Microbiome Explorer – Comprehensive (Formerly Metaxplore GI Plus)

    Retired and adjusted our legacy brands
    - In Australia, the Co-Biome and Metaxplore brands will be retired.
    - In the UK, our supplements will continue to be offered under the Invivo brand.
