    No. Microba Connect matches you with a trusted, independent practitioner who will interpret your results and support your next steps.

    Is the same clinical-grade test that Microba offers through practitioners?

    Yes. You receive the same exact same test that is available through practitioner referral.

    What does the practitioner consultation include?

    A personalised 45-minute interpretation session covering your results, what they mean, and how you can take action.

    Can I share my results with my GP or specialist?

    Absolutely. Many patients find it very useful to share their results with their primary practitioners. You can use our easy report sharing tool to share the live, interactive report with anyone - all you need is their email address.

    How long does it take to get my report?

    Microba Microbiome Explorer reports are released directly to your matched independent practitioner 2-4 weeks from the date your sample is received at the lab. Your practitioner can then share the report with you directly and walk you through the interpretation on your consultation call.

    What happens after my results interpretation consultation?

    Your expert practitioner will outline personalised next steps, such as diet, supplement or lifestyle recommendations. They’ll also advise you on what follow-up care would be helpful, tailored to your needs. They can also support you to find a practitioner within the Microba network for ongoing care needs.
